But I have to say Sylvia - I relate to her character and struggles a lot more than Virginia’s and of course, because of the difference in era there’s a lot more about Sylvia Plath like interviews and stuff so she’s easier to connect to in that sense too. Her writing is also a lot more accessible as much as I love Virginia, her books are really really hard to get your head around stylistically, I guess it’s easier to be afraid of Virginia Woolf hahahaa. And also Ted Hughes ok.
Fun fact: Sylvia Plath wrote in her diary when she was a student that she wanted to be better than Virginia Woolf, and she tried to kill herself by walking into the sea inspired by her.
